Daddy Yankee's Talento De Barrio Debuts At No.1

Talento De Barrio, the brand new album from Daddy Yankee, has debuted at No.1 on the Top Latin Albums Chart. It seems that every album he comes out with debuts at number one. The album also reached No.13 on the Billboard 200, which is tough to do for an all-spanish album. Some people are saying that since he only sold 26,000 copies, it was a flop, but while it didnt sell as much as Cartel III (88,000 copies first week), you have to take in the fact that it had no american collabos this time and had no airplay on channels like MTV. I think that once people start realizing that Talento De Barrio is a much better album than El Cartel or Los Extraterrestres, it will start selling more copies. Now if you like our website, you can help RealTalkReggaeton.Net by helping reggaeton itself. So go out there, buy Talento De Barrio and while you're at it, go pick up the Erre XI and Baby Ranks albums too aight.

Now for the Hot Latin Songs Charts its seems that reggaeton is making its move. Five out of the top eleven are reggaeton songs. Flex - Te Quiero, Khriz Y Angel - Na De Na, Daddy Yankee - Pose, Wisin Y Yandel - Siguelo, and MJ - He Venido all managed to make it in the top eleven. This is good news for reggaeton fans, cuz for the past couple of months the only reggaeton song we've seen in these charts is "Te Quiero". Its great to see tracks from our genre getting more airplay.
