“Over 25K fans witness the return of ‘The Big Boss’ to Chile”


July 13, 2009 – Santiago, Chile – After giving one of his most memorable performances before a crowd of over 15K fans at this year’s Viña del Mar Festival, Daddy Yankee returned to Chilean soil to present his “Talento de Barrio” tour.

Over 25K fans witnessed as “The Big Boss” took the stage last night at the Bicentenario de La Florida Stadium. Beginning with his trademark performance of “Somos de Calle”, the frantic audience joined to sing the Big Boss’ current hits “Que Tengo Que Hacer”, “LLamado de Emergencia”, “Pose” and “Salgo Pa’ La Calle”. The hour and a half presentation showcased Daddy Yankee classics “Ella Me Levanto”, “Lo Que Paso, Paso”, “Rompe” and “Impacto” among others; and, towards the end of the show the already pumped crowd went frantic when The Big Boss surprised them with a special premier of “El Ritmo No Perdona (Prende)” a new single from his upcoming album Mundial.

Today Daddy Yankee will present his fragance to the Chilean market through an in-store event to be held at Almacenes Paris at La Florida Mall. Tomorrow night, The Big Boss takes the stage once again at Stadium Francisco Sanchez Rumoroso in Coquimbo, Chile.
