Miami,Fl- July 6, 2009: Daddy Yankee returned to Argentina this weekend to play three sold-out dates and the biggest crowd for an urban act in the region, part of his Talento de Barrio world tour kicked off earlier in the year. His show continued yesterday in Montevideo, Uruguay.

In Cordoba at the Orfeo Arena, Argentinean fans from families with kids, couples, groups of teen and preteen girls, shining with promotional handout glow sticks, bandanas were ready for hits and spectacle. Yankee delivered, to thunderous shouts of ”Somos The Calle”, the most expected concert of the year started. Yankee performed for more than an hour including his most recent hits such as “Que Tengo Que Hacer”, “Pose” and “Llamado De Emergencia” followed by his classics “Ella Me Levanto”, “Lo Que Paso Paso” and “Rompe”. The Audience screamed for more and the Boss did, singing “Gasolina” and “Salgo Pa La Calle”.

Daddy Yankee took a moment to pay tribute to Michael Jackson when one of his dancers impersonated the King of Pop at the pace of “Billy Jean”. “He was an inspiration when I was growing up and I want to dedicate this concert to him”, said the Puerto Rican singer to his audience.

In Buenos Aires the same euphoria as in Cordoba was hidden by the minute. Backstage, Daddy Yankee received a surprise from football player, Carlos Tevez who’s a fan and came to see the concert and presented him a commemorative jersey from Argentina National Team.
