Superstars Enrique Iglesias, Daddy Yankee, Aventura, Wisin & Yandel, Akon and Rubén Blades and his legendary band, Los Seis del Solar, have been added to the lineup of performers for the 2009 Billboard Latin Music Awards. They join a roster of performers that also includes Paulina Rubio, Don Omar, Cristian Castro and La Quinta Estación.
Wisin & Yandel will perform with Akon and Aventura, while Blades will celebrate the 25th anniversary of his group, Seis del Solar, in his first televised performance in years.
The awards air live April 23 from the BankUnited Center in Miami on the Telemundo network and are the culmination to the Billboard Latin Music Conference, taking place April 20-23 at the Eden Roc Resort in Miami Beach.
