Daddy Yankee signs with Sony Music Latin


Daddy Yankee has singed a contract with Sony Music Latin. The urban artist who has sold more albums in this decade announced with Ruben Leyva, president of Sony Music U.S. Latin, that he signed a recording contract with the multinational recording label. The agreement took place at Club 50, the famous Viceroy Hotel in Miami, Florida.

“My music is global. The position of Sony Music Latin and its success as market leaders are in line with what I want to achieve with this new record with an international focus. I know it is a successful union and that together we will revolutionize urban music, “said Daddy Yankee.

Meanwhile, Ruben Leyva said that “at Sony Music Latin, we are happy that an artist as highly respected like Daddy Yankee will join our family and we know that this alliance will be a great success for all.”

The new album “DADDY YANKEE MUNDIAL” has various influences of international rhythms. This album will be in stores in the spring of 2010 and also be a worldwide success that is currently taking of the radio worldwide.
